Privacy Policy

The short version: we use your phone number and messages to run your conversations. We do not sell your information, and we do not share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing.

ChannelThem is a text message service ("ChannelThem," "we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you visit channelthem.com or text our number, and how we use it.

What we collect

Your mobile number, when you text us or enter it on our website.
Message content: the texts you send and the replies we send, including goals, plans, or commitments you share.
Message metadata: timestamps, delivery status, and carrier information provided by our messaging provider.
Consent records: when and how you opted in, and any opt-out.
Website data: basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider.

How we use it

To deliver conversations with the Channel you choose and keep context between messages.
To send morning messages you ask for, and check-ins and follow-ups related to things you told the table.
To respond to HELP requests and honor STOP requests.
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and improve how Channels respond.
To meet legal and carrier requirements.

SMS program details

By texting (516) 518-3230 or submitting your number on our website, you agree to receive conversational text messages from ChannelThem, including morning messages and check-ins you ask for. Message frequency varies based on how you use the service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, and we will send one message confirming you are unsubscribed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number, SMS opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We share information only with service providers that help us run ChannelThem, and only as needed to do so. These include our SMS provider (Twilio), our workflow and data tools, and the AI model provider that generates Channel replies (OpenAI). These providers are bound by their own confidentiality and data protection obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.

AI Channels

Channels are AI characters. Replies are generated automatically and may be inaccurate. Channels are not the real people who inspire them, and those people are not affiliated with or endorsed by ChannelThem. Do not share information you would not want processed by an AI system.

Retention

We keep conversation history while your account is active so the table can remember context. If you opt out or ask us to delete your data, we will delete or de-identify your conversation history within 30 days, except where we must keep records such as opt-out logs for legal or carrier compliance.

Your choices

Reply STOP to stop all messages.
Email hello@channelthem.com to request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We will honor valid requests.

Age

ChannelThem is intended for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and text messaging is not encrypted end to end.

Changes

We may update this policy. If changes are material, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know by text.
